As a nation, we are all too aware of massacres which have occured in the workplace
and at schools. Officials have long sought a method to screen individuals for their tendany to commit violent acts (aggression,
assault, homicide) and to proactively protect the helpless. Cognitive Engineering, LLC offers a complex but predictive method
(Predictive Probability of Violence, PPV) to screen persons for violent tendancies. The PPV can lend itself to small
(office) or large numbers (incoming student body) of persons. The PPV uses a combination of written tests, which can
be supplemented by background checks, drug testing, functional MR imaging and other components.
